"Jason already told me he'd give me No. 31," Marion said on ESPN 103.3's Galloway and Co. "That's a trooper. That's my man right there." Terry has worn No. 31 his entire career. That number is hanging in the rafters in his honor at Seattle's Franklin High and the University of Arizona. So it was quite a gesture to offer to give it up to the Matrix, who said he'd give Terry something in return even though nothing was requested. As much as Marion wants to keep No. 31, he does have a backup plan in mind.
