fish7718
Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are teaming up together on the Miami Heat, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. ESPN's Shelley Smith also reported the pending move through independent sources. Whether LeBron James, the kingpin of this summer's celebrated free agent class, will join them remains to be seen. James will announce his decision Thursday night at 9 ET during a one-hour special on ESPN. Source Crazy, if I'm LeBron I'm signing with NY or Miami now so I can be with an all stat teammate as well. bigdog17k
I think LeBron definitely goes elsewhere now. Why not just announce you're going to the Heat the same day.
fish7718
I think LeBron definitely goes elsewhere now. Why not just announce you're going to the Heat the same day.I think if LeBron was going to Cleveland, Bosh has to go with him. Since Bosh is in Miami then LeBron is not going Cleveland, not going Chicago, was never going LA, down to NY 45% NJ 35% Miami 10% Cleveland 10% in my mind. How good is? Chalmers - Wade - Beasley - Bosh - Center ??? Sounds like this line up depends on Beasley a lot. Edited July 7, 2010 by Fish7718
bigdog17k
I've heard the Knicks have been the front runner for LeBron up to this point, so we'll see.

Cleveland's Finest
Knicks vs. Cavs. Back to where it began. Maybe we can work out a deal with Boozer and he can redeem himself in Cleveland.

Shark
Kind had to see the Bosh and Wade together thing coming with them having the same agent and meeting with the Heat brass together... In my opinion LeBron is not going to Miami. It just seems way too far-fetched to have the top three free agents of this summer all signing for the same team and really, I don't think its even a good option for LeBron. Sure he'll have two other stars with him but who else is going to fill that roster? minimum salary players who can't be depended on. So what if Bosh goes down with an injury? In no way would they be a lock for a championship if they all signed together. I've got to say its Cleveland and New York. Chicago is out of the picture because Bosh said he wanted to play in a big city, which is why he wouldn't approve of a S&T to Cleveland. And if LeBron was going to Chicago then Bosh would have followed him there.

Dr. Feelgood
I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see LeBron still sign with the Heat. But this will be interesting, Bosh and Wade together.

If I saw all of them on that ESPN special, I'd probably guess it wasn't just a coincidence they are announcing their teams together. Don't think he's going to Miami, though. Good move by Bosh, but I figured he would do this. Miami was my first choice for him.

SRV
YES!! Now I wonder who else we are gonna get, assuming Lebron goes somewhere else.

Wouldn't it be kind of cool if nobody had announced anything yet and on LeBron's ESPN special he basically was like I have a surprise for everyone and Wade+Bosh come out as well and they annouce their all hitting up Miami? SRV
Only Lebron would have an entire hour dedicated to himself, and it only takes a few seconds to announce your choice.Hopefully he eliminates teams every 10 minutes and explains why he didn't choose them, it could be like the bachelor lol
Flash
Pretty sure we'd have to trade Beasley to get LBJ and I don't know if that's gonna happen. Let's say it doesn't happen, we've got just about 12 mil to spend on FA's.

Let's say it doesn't happen, we've got just about 12 mil to spend on FA's.Trading Beasley is easy, we might actually have a S&T with Toronto, and other teams like T-Wolves, Kings ect.. would take him off our hands. I only see us doing it if we really believe we can get Lebron. If that doesn't happen, we should target Brendan Haywood, Felton, Lee, Haslem. Also, Tyrus Thomas is listed as a FA, but I thought he was restricted..if not, I would love to get him.

Jenneral
I don't see the big deal in all this. Sure with three superstars you have the potential to be great... but like someone else said, all it takes is an injury or two and you're now relying on a bunch of scrubs that are in the league thanks to you being able to afford nothing else. I don't know... seems like too big of a gamble.

That's enough money to get 3-4 quality players.
