Guest STL10
Would you hate this "Dream Team"? Edited July 8, 2010 by STL10
Owner Real Deal Posted July 8, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 8, 2010 I stopped hating the Heat once Shaq left and when Wade stopped flopping every drive. I actually like Wade as a player now. I'm a Chalmers fan. I like Beasley (despite him playing for K-State). Pat Riley is a beast. But, to be honest, Bosh's attitude through this FA process has sucked...and I don't like him as much as I did a month ago. And LeBron went from being my second favorite player to one of my most hated over the last year or two...just not a big fan of the in-game celebrations or the way he's toying with cities during free agency (because that's exactly what he's doing). I wouldn't mind if Wade won another ring, but I don't want to see one on James' finger.
magicbalala245
No cause Lakers can beat this team in a 7 game series still. Kobe > Wade. Ron Artest < LeBron James. Pau > Bosh. Lakers Bench > Heat Bench.

Owner Real Deal Posted July 8, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 8, 2010 No cause Lakers can beat this team in a 7 game series still. Kobe > Wade. Ron Artest Bosh. Lakers Bench > Heat Bench. So why do you hate the Boston Celtics? We proved that we can beat them, also. Us being able to beat this Heat team (if we can) doesn't mean you have no hate for them (or vice-versa).
kingfish
I generally hate any team that builds their team on pretty much all free agents. See New York Yankees.
SRV
People are gonna hate, I would hate this team (aside from Wade) if it wasn't my home team. I would say, soon enough, its gonna be like the Lakers, you either love them or hate them.

Guest STL10
I generally hate any team that builds their team on pretty much all free agents. See New York Yankees. Yankees players brought up through their farm system...Important cogs of the machine include Jeter, Cano, Gardner, Pettitte, Hughes, Joba, and Rivera. Don't hate on the Yankees because they spend money it's a TERRIBLE excuse. I don't get how people hate the Yankees for spending money, and then feel sorry for the Pirates for selling all their players for nothing. For example, the Pirates gave away Jason Bay for Andy LaRoche, Brandon Moss, and Craig Hansen. Edited July 8, 2010 by STL10
SRV
The Yankees is different though, they can pay every player they want because there is no cap. On the other hand, we planned ahead for this moment, built through the draft and trades, all leading up to this situation.

BlueDevil
wouldnt hate the team so much, but i dont wanna see lebron or bosh with a ringif they had just told their original teams that they would jump ship, and let they get out with something, id have more respect for them (mainly bosh, i lost all respect for Lebron long ago)basically dont want Lebron to win a ring, dont want bosh to win a ring yet, wouldnt mind seeing wade win againso ya, ill be rooting against them, but wont make a difference, theyll be damn good
Check my Stats
I don't respect the way they constructed this potential dream team at all.... they wasted 2 years of Wade's career, luckily it is going to pay of for them.

But when you go out in one offseason and swoop up 3-4 dominant players just because you can and nobody else can, it gives you a reason to hate. As far as im concerned, Burnett - Sabathia - Teixeira = Bosh - Lebron - Wade. Edited July 8, 2010 by kingfish
SRV
We drafted Wade and made him to what he is today.....all our trades led us to sign Bosh and possibly Lebron..and we still have rookies and Chalmers.

It is laughable to compare baseball and basketball too because baseball is such a team game. The Cardinals have a trio better than the Yankees, but does it equal a World Series? That is why the NBA is nothing like baseball. Pujols, Holliday, Wainwright, Carpenter >A-Rod, Teixeira,Sabathia, Burnett Pujols, Wainwright, Carpenter < LeBron, Wade, Bosh In terms of more important to their team Edited July 8, 2010 by STL10

LBJ/Wade/Bosh have a way bigger impact on a basketball game than a pitcher and 2 position players. Edited July 8, 2010 by travesy3
fish7718
Yes, LeBron most of all for coping out and heading to WADE county and making himself a Scotty Pippen to help Wade win rings.

Joba, Hughes, Pettitte, Rivera, Robertson, Cervelli, Posada, Cano, Jeter, Pena, Russo, Curtis, Gardner, Thames. 14 players on a 25 man active roster. Aceves too, but he's on the DL. Next theory... Go.
