I dont understand this, if LeBron can take his team to 1st place by himself, why cant he be 1st place with Wade and Bosh. Just admit you put them 3rd because you hate the Heat.

5 guy roster ftw

1. Heat (If the Heat can get a good enough bench then they could easily get the #1 seed.)

2. Magic (The Magic have gotten used to this spot so I don't see them falling any lower. However if the Magic want to contend they will need a true PF because Rashard Lewis playing next to Howard as a PF isn't gonna cut it.)

3. Celtics (The Celtics showed the true meaning that basketball is not a race but a marathon. They were not the best team in the East or NBA but the did make it to the finals. It will be kind of tough for them to start the season off with Perkins in the line up, but with the free agent signing of Jermaine O'Neal to fill in while Perkins is out will help out alot.)

4. Bulls (With the edition of Carlos Boozer and adding sharpshooters in Kyle Korver and possibly J.J. Redick the Bulls will be a much better team. I can't exactly say were they will be this season but I'm going to say they will end up being the #4 or #5 seed thi season.)

5. Hawks (The Hawks just signed Joe Johnson back for another 6 years so I think the Hawks will be a #4 or #5 seed.)

6. Bucks (They Bucks made major moves, and if it wasn't for the Bulls aquiring Booz, Johnson signing back with Atlanta, and LeBron joining the Super Heat, then I would have actually put them alot higher.

7. Knicks (I may be putting the Knicks up a little high but Stoud is a major improvment from Lee. I can't say they will exactly be the 7th seed maybe they will be 8th but they will definitely make a playoff run.)

8. Bobcats (I can't really say to much for the Bobcat's other than I feel they will be one of the many teams fighting for the 8th spot.)

9. Cavs (I honestly don't see the Cavs being as bad as many people believe they will be. Now thats not to say they will be a playoff team or make it to the finals like Dan Gilbert think's but they could make a run for the 8th seed this year. With leBron gone a bunch of players must step up and some trades must happen "see ya Delonte West".

10. Wizards (I think they could also be a team who could be an 8th seed. With Arena's coming back and of course the #1 pick in John Wall they can definitely make an impact.)

11. Pistons (The Pistons is another team who could make a run for the 8th seed but first they need to go on ahead and find new homes for Rip, Ben, and Prince and start young and fresh.)

12. Pacers (The Pacers didn't address to much in the offseason even though it isn't over yet but I can tell nothing is going to happen. However they did get Paul George who I feel is a good pick up but the question is, is he their to play next to Granger or is he Granger's replacement. Also the Pacers still need another PG so I really don't see them doing any better than last year. Maybe more wins but thats about it.)

13. Raptors (Their going to fell the effect of Chris Bosh leaving but this will be Bargnani's chance to show why he was picked #1 a couple of years ago. Obviously I don't see this team going to the playoff's but like I said if Bargnani play's like a #1 pick then they will be good for the future.)

14. Nets (The Net's will once again not make it to the playoffs but at least they won't be 10-72 this season are the worst team in the NBA this year. Favors will make an impact the the Nets truley need and Lopez could possibly be an all star.)

15. Sixers (I've liked Philly since the A.I. days but I got a filling they will be the worst in the East. They have good young players but I see a bunch of changes happening. I can see both Iggy and Brand being traded which would leave Turner with big shoes to fill in.)

unbelievable how low some of you guys have us...we just played in the finals and have virtually the same team back. but now the hawks and bulls are above us? explain

1. they were 4th seed last year, it's not completely unrealistic to say they will be 5th this year. and the Hawks just finished above you last year...

2. the Celtics are old and declining.
