Heat trade Beasley to Wolves

Real Deal

You still have to wonder though... had the Heat drafted OJ Mayo or... Russell Westbrook! it would have been mad chaos. And no way Heat would have traded them... but Beasley... it says a lot about his career.

But there's no guarantee Beasley will have more freedom in Minny, they already have Love and Al who if they are not successful in trading, Beasley will continue to come off the bench. And in triangle offense, nothing is free. It's even a more complicated system than in Miami.

i assume their rookise season fg% werent that pretty...they wouldve gone through the exact same thing beasley did under erik spoelstra..he had no room for rookie errors because there were tryin to win and get into the playoffs as he said, while other rookies on losing teams were allowed to gun it out and have less pressure to win games

I wonder how Beasley fits into the Wolves lineup. Can Wes play the 2 guard so Beasley can start at SF? Or does he start at the 4 post a Love/Jefferson trade?

Spo wanted his players to play D, not only Beas not play D, he was missing assignments on the O, which he was supposed to excel... he didn't pay attention to detail.

Someone like Westbrook would have gotten the nod from Spo because even as a rookie, he played D and could already pass.

C - Joel Anthony

PF - Chris Bosh

SF - LeBron James

SG - Dwyane Wade

PG - Russell Westbrook

If it had been Westbrook or Mayo, there's no way Riley would move them... at least not for 2nd round pick.

Funny thing is I remember Pat Riley was the one who opposed drafting Beasley and he wanted Mayo. But I think the owner and coaching staff thought Beas was a can't-miss... and Riley sort of let them do it. I guess, from now on, they wouldn't doubt Riley's judgment.

So Beasley is now ruined because he was traded to a team where he can actually play more minutes, and have more freedom on offense? Alright.

Thank god someone said it, I was just about to post the same shiit...

you gotta be a retard to not comprehend that.

This is only good for Mike. He's 21 ffs. I expect him to get close to a double double this year if his minutes are consistent. He's already the most offensively gifted player on that roster.
