Lone Wolf
Yeah. I just wonder for who, though. By the way FreeAgent, the Wolves don't have "50" point guards. Only 2 with 3 once Rubio comes over next year.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 9, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted July 9, 2010 So Beasley is now ruined because he was traded to a team where he can actually play more minutes, and have more freedom on offense? Alright.

moeroadkill
i dont know much about the triangle offence but if a guy like lee and bosh are good 'fits' then why wouldn't Beasley?
Multi-Billionaire
You still have to wonder though... had the Heat drafted OJ Mayo or... Russell Westbrook! it would have been mad chaos. And no way Heat would have traded them... but Beasley... it says a lot about his career. But there's no guarantee Beasley will have more freedom in Minny, they already have Love and Al who if they are not successful in trading, Beasley will continue to come off the bench. And in triangle offense, nothing is free. It's even a more complicated system than in Miami.
Flash
Great for Michael. I'm happy that he'll get to display his talent's in Minnesota and I've aboslutely still be a fan of his. Sad to see him leave Miami.

Dash
I wonder how Beasley fits into the Wolves lineup. Can Wes play the 2 guard so Beasley can start at SF? Or does he start at the 4 post a Love/Jefferson trade?

Someone like Westbrook would have gotten the nod from Spo because even as a rookie, he played D and could already pass. C - Joel AnthonyPF - Chris BoshSF - LeBron JamesSG - Dwyane WadePG - Russell Westbrook If it had been Westbrook or Mayo, there's no way Riley would move them... at least not for 2nd round pick. Funny thing is I remember Pat Riley was the one who opposed drafting Beasley and he wanted Mayo. But I think the owner and coaching staff thought Beas was a can't-miss... and Riley sort of let them do it. I guess, from now on, they wouldn't doubt Riley's judgment. Flash
This is only good for Mike. He's 21 ffs. I expect him to get close to a double double this year if his minutes are consistent. He's already the most offensively gifted player on that roster.
