Guest STL10
As some may know #23 is retired by the Miami Heat in honor of Michael Jordan. We all know the story behind LeBron changing his #. So...Tip his plans?
fish7718
Didn't he just say he made his decision Thursday morning?
SRV
I am sure that was just a coincidence.
xx.
No but I do believe after the blowjob he received from Pat Riley with his big fat dick sucking lips......he knew Miami was his choice.
Flight
Don't the Bulls have it retired too? I mean really there isn't much to say. Everyone speculated the picture on his site looked like the Bulls logo. No Chicago. Chalmers wears 6. Whoopdie do.

Nitro
LeBron did it so his jersey sales would spike like Kobe's did when he changed from 8 to 24. All for business.
JWaLL
This could not be a more perfect example of overanalyzing something. Lebron is showing respect for Jordan (whether it's to please the media or out of his own will) by changing his number and suggesting 23 be retired league wide. Lone Wolf
You know, this is weird.. but Chris Bosh said the place that LeBron picks will be the factor of where every one else will go. Well, Bosh and Wade picked Miami first.
Art
Probably so because his reasoning for the change was that he thought 23 should be forever known as MJ.
Flash
He was gonna change it regardless. The only reason he actually had to go through it with the league was in case he stayed in Cleveland.
Jammin
He changed it because at the time, he didn't think he was changing teams. You only have to apply for a # change when you are staying with your current team. If you go to a new team you get to pick a new number.
