Newman
Hasbrouck got a guaranteed contract? Anyway, they just sign everyone else for the vet minimum and bam, that's their team.

I wonder how many players will want to sign a minimum with them. I can see Haslem and Q-Rich doing it.

AtTheDriveIn
Haslem can sign for more because he has bird years. So can Richardson if his contract (withholding being traded) is older than three years. They can both re-sign for more than just the veterans minimum. Miami can essentially throw any amount they want at them. The rest of their players, too. They wont have a hard time re-signing players now that they have the a winning core. AtTheDriveIn
We'll see, I really wonder what the Heat roster will look like in November. I think it'll be similar to what it looked like last season... plus LeBron and Bosh. Unless the Miami organization doesn't want the players back, you'd have to be stupid to leave a team who has the potential to be something very special. I doubt that, Mike Miller has already signed and not to mention lots of free agents who are seeking rings like Brad Miller, Big Z, Shaq etc. I can see them re-signing Dorrell Wright, Udonis Haslem, and Jamaal Magloire but I think they use will free agency to sign the rest for the minimum. AtTheDriveIn
^ Jermaine? Mario Chalmers? Carlos Aroyo? If they bring back the guys you mentioned, thats 7 players from the previous roster including the ones I named. That's quite a lot of the roster back considering they only need to carry 12. Signing LeBron + Bosh pushes them to 9 players; signing their rookies pushed them to 11 or 12 (I think they drafted two or three?). That's all speculation though. They may not want to re-sign anyone and start from scratch completely.

Jermaine O'Neal already signed with the Celtics, Mario Chalmers isnt a free agent and Carlos Arroyo I doubt will come back unless they badly need a PG. AtTheDriveIn
Havn't really paying much attention to basketball recently so I don't know what's been going on. Still, if Aroyo + the players you mentioned come back, that's 6 players back. 50% of the team.

Cobb
Haslem better come to Atlanta for the MLE!
Dash
I'm pretty sure they can come out with AT LEAST one player for the veteran's minimum, and do they have the LLE? Heat still also own the rights to some decent players in Arroyo, Richardson, Haslem and Wright. 12 players right there.
Universe
I don't think they can afford Miller can they? And Anthony I think wanted more money too.
SRV
Do we seriously have Joel Anthony? Cause Lebron said his name and hes not even on our roster.

Clutch
bronwadeboshchalmersmillerHASLEM for sure ????????? rookies: varnado, butler, pittman, and shavlik randolph is on the summer league roster, he might make it again, he comes cheap and is actually a decent 10th man lol arroy plays for dirt cheap just for the sake of playin in florida..so i think he might stay too Edited July 9, 2010 by Clutch
SRV
Call me retarded for this, but can we re-sign Haslem to whatever contract despite the CAP, since we have bird years....or can we only bring him in at minimum, which he won't do. Owner Real Deal Posted July 9, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 9, 2010 Call me retarded for this, but can we re-sign Haslem to whatever contract despite the CAP, since we have bird years....or can we only bring him in at minimum, which he won't do.You have Bird Rights, but there's always a player max. EDIT: Nevermind, not sure what I was thinking. FA's still count against your total payroll.

Poe
You have Bird Rights, but there's always a player max.So is it possible for the Heat to resign both Haslem and Wright?
Poe
Also, I think it's likely we will see Shavlik Randolph and Kenny Hasbrouck back on the roster.
Flash
No, in order to sign LBJ and Bosh we had to renounce our rights to all of our FA's so we don't have anyone's Bird Rights. I can see Q coming back for the minimum but after the Drew Gooden deal, I don't see Udonis coming back for the minimum and Dorell either because if Travis Outlaw can get 7M a year then I think Dorell can get 5 or 6 mil a year. I think a guy like T-Mac would definitely jump on board with this squad if he's really serious about winning a ring before he hangs it up. Then you have Raja Bell and maybe a Jason Kapono who may also come for cheap. I think Arroyo signs a minimum deal without thinking twice as well if we come at him with an offer.
