Built Ford Tough
STEIN_LINE_HQ ESPN.com sources: Bulls to sign Korver to three-year deal worth estimated $15 million Very good move for the Bulls. His shooting is desperately needed to space the floor, especially after the Bulls traded away their only 3 point threat in Hinrich (and he was streaky). He isn't exactly ideal as a starter considering his lack of defense, but his shooting is going to be a welcome addition to the team, along with Boozer. The Bulls struck out on the big free agents, but they have quietly had a solid offseason, all things considered.
Check my Stats
Damn he got a lot more than I expected, he would have been a perfect pickup for Miami.
Universe
I think he is actually one of the cheaper pick ups of this year.
The Regime
I think he is actually one of the cheaper pick ups of this year. Yeah, definitely a steal for the amount of money they offered him. The Jazz are [expletive]ed though, they not only lost their second best player in Boozer but now they lose a solid bench player. I don't know what direction Kevin O'Connor is going with this squad. Nitro
Great signing, exactly what they needed. The Bulls are going to be a very, very dangerous team next season.
Cobb
Damn he got a lot more than I expected, he would have been a perfect pickup for Miami.Same here but I guess he's worth 5 million a year in this market.
Gorilla Dog
Damn he got a lot more than I expected, he would have been a perfect pickup for Miami. Huh? 5M is a steal for Korver because the Bulls got a great shooter, filled a need, got a 3 point shooter, and didn't overpay to get him. Compare his deal to a lot of the FA deals this off-season and tell me the Bulls didn't get a steal for 5M.
MJ23
Very nice move!!! The Bulls needed a player just like Korver - a solid shooter.Plus,he was with Boozer in Utah,so they know each other's game, and that will help the Bulls for sure. Gorilla Dog
The Bulls are also targeting Morrow or Brewer to start at SG.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 9, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 9, 2010 Very, very good signing. Korver is the best shooter in the league. He'll love playing alongside Rose and Booz.
GamerGuy
Boozer and Korver already have nice chemistry together, so I expect them to adapt pretty quickly to the Bulls system. Great signing by the Bulls.
Newman
The Bulls are also targeting Morrow or Brewer to start at SG. If we are getting Brewer we are making ourselves pretty much a copy of the Jazz I would love getting Brewer though. Athletic and a good defender, he can fit right into the 2 guard spot. Love the Korver signing as well, we are desperate for a shooter. Hopefully we retain Flip and then sign a veteran PG to back-up Rose and our backcourt is set. drosefan@gmail.com
Fantastic move by the Bulls. We have lacked a knockdown 3 point shooter for years and years.
Smitty
MAN...I STILL wish Philly never traded him. Instead we have an overpaid Kapono. Sucks so bad.
Warren2ThaG
He'll look so damn fine in a Bulls jersey, he fits them tight n well.
