Gorilla Dog
I am hearing the Bulls are trying to trade for Iggy this summer. The Bulls are offering Deng, Gibson/Johnson, and a first round pick for Iggy. I think the 76'ers are considering this deal because Iggy is one of the highest paid players on the team and they need to trade him or Young. I think they keep Young instead of Iggy. PG. RoseSG. Morrow/BrewerSF. IggyPF. BoozerC. Noah
xx.
Deng/Gibson/1st rounder... definitely seems like a good trade for both sides.
Check my Stats
Lol another lateral move for the 76ers, would be a nice upgrade for the Bulls but it still sucks they struck out in FA.
GamerGuy
Lol another lateral move for the 76ers, would be a nice upgrade for the Bulls but it still sucks they struck out in FA.The Bulls may not have landed LeBron, Wade, or Bosh, but getting Boozer and now Korver certainly isn't bad. Making a move like this would put the Bulls in a great position to be one of the top teams in the East (after Miami).
Check my Stats
Yeah but getting Iggy and Boozer is half of what getting LBJ/Wade and Bosh would have been, that would have been titles, this is ECF aspirations at most.... it isn't bad and there is nothing wrong with working towards something, but unless Rose becomes the best PG in the league and Iggy can hit 3's consistently the Bulls will never break through the glass ceiling of the Magic/Heat level, and Celtics as well for now. Rose-Korver-Iggy-Boozer-Noah is a pretty sick starting 5 though, in a typical off-season that is a major turnaround, but this year it is just meh. Owner Real Deal Posted July 9, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 9, 2010 Team over stars. I learned my lesson in 2004.

Phightins
I don't see why the Sixers would even consider this.
Gorilla Dog
I don't see why the Sixers would even consider this. Your team is not going to compete for a long time and they want to build around Turner and Young. How are Turner, Young, and Iggy all going to play together? One of them has to go... Nitro
I don't see the point for the Bulls, honestly. Too much to give up for Iggy and his contract. I'd rather wait and see how this current team pans out, and if there is an oppertunity to make a deal at the trade deadline, then pull the trigger. How are Turner, Young, and Iggy all going to play together? One of them has to go... Well, Deng plays the same position, which sort of makes your point moot. The difference is Deng is a worse defender, worse shooter, basically worse everything. I am not a fan of Iguodala's contract, however I feel the Sixers get way more bang for the buck out of him than they would out of Deng. Look, I agree that the Sixers are not contending for a title any time soon, but that is no reason for them to trade their best player for an inferior player with an even worse contract, if that is what you were getting at. It doesn't matter if your team is the Lakers and ready to compete for a title this year, or the Sixers who still have a long way to go, trades need to make sense for both teams. I just don't see the logic in this for the Sixers at all.
Newman
I don't want to lose Gibson as I believe he can be an energizer off the bench. Still, Iggy would be too good to pass on.
Nitro
The difference is Deng is a worse defender, worse shooter, basically worse everything. Umm, Deng shot 2% better from the field, 7.5% better from 3, and 3% better from the FT line last season. And grabbed more boards on a better rebounding team than the Sixers. Smitty
I like Gibson, but I don't like Deng over Iggy. Would rather trade Thad in that case.
AllenIverson#1fan
Would be good move by both teams. Iggy should flourish in the bulls style of play imo.
