Legacy
Pablo Sandoval should have been in this. <_< Timmy is gonna beast for the NL!
Phightins
That'd be cool if Charlie subs out Braun early and puts Werth in...all 3 Phils in the OF at once.
Flight
NL wins 11-8. Lincecum strikes out 5 batters in 2 innings, Justin Upton comes off the bench for a pinch hit HR, Hanley Ramirez gets the MVP.
Cobb
I'm hoping the NL will win but they never do.
fly3rs18
im looking forward to the pitching matchup. lincecum is a monster. but it should be a good game, hopefully it is not a blowout
bigdog17k
I think the NL has a good shot this year, hate to say it.
EastCoastNiner
The NL line-up is loaded, but don't over-look the AL line-up. We will see how Tim Lincincum does against real hitting tonight.
fish7718
Why is Victorino starting? That's just terrible.
EastCoastNiner
Why is Victorino starting? That's just terrible. Why is David Wright starting when Pablo Sandoval should be starting?
Phightins
Why is Victorino starting? That's just terrible. Because he is the only natural centerfielder on the NL roster.
fish7718
Because he is the only natural centerfielder on the NL roster.Lol who cares its the all star game! I'm sure Brad Hawpe isn't going to have much trouble playing center field for 4-5 innings. Pathetic!
Phightins
Lol who cares its the all star game! I'm sure Brad Hawpe isn't going to have much trouble playing center field for 4-5 innings. Pathetic! You asked why he is starting and you got your answer. And since obviously to you the game is so pointless that you, the guy who clearly values defense so much based on our Manny/Hanley Ramirez discussion, have absolutely no problem putting a guy with no centerfield experience out there, why do you care so much about Vic being on the team (and starting)? It's just sad to that a guy who didn't even make it originally starts over a guy who did make it.

If you have a problem with that, tough [expletive]...it's one of the perks of winning the World Series. Lots of managers do it on a far bigger scale than this. Cobb
Only one Braves players on the roster this year. I'm really happy for McCann. Sucks that Jurjens or Vazquez didn't make it. If only they had run support there records would've been better and the their chances of getting in would be as well.
kingfish
Wow reallllly good game so far, been some nice plays, not too much offense though. Been exciting the whole way though, and very quick.

EastCoastNiner
I though the AL was going to lose when Jonathan Pappelbon entered the game. I have very little confidence in him.
