Gorilla Dog
Three years, $25 million reported by ESPN. You should know better than to believe what BSPN reports. Point guard Raymond Felton's contract figures, finalized today, is two years, $15.8M, according to a source. http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/knicks/felton_two_year_contract_with_knicks_J7oF0yuvxVnbbjoyq15XBP?CMP=OTC-rss&FEEDNAME=
Flight
Melo and CP3 join the Knicks? Then... They have a nice trio in Amare, Melo, and CP3... that would make for a nice ECF matchup.
The Regime
Only a two year contract for Felton, wow. That makes sense for the Knicks though. They can not only target Chris Paul next season if he isn't traded by then, but Felton's expiring contract could also be really valuable. Gorilla Dog
The Knicks believe they will have the cap space to sign possible free agents Carmelo Anthony in 2011 or Chris Paul in 2012. New York's insistence on no more than two guaranteed years for point guard Raymond Felton has given them the cap-space flexibility to offer one maximum contract for 2011 and another one for 2012, Knicks president Donnie Walsh told The New Post on Saturday. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/68065/20100711/walsh_says_knicks_will_have_cap_space_for_11_12/
