JWaLL Posted July 14, 2009 Report Share Posted July 14, 2009 Chalk toss is in live too.He's just saying it's a relief that 2k is at least attempting to upgrade their currently mediocre presentation. 2k needs: -Controllable warm ups with your players IN THEIR WARMUPS. Actually be able to shoot around with your players before games to get used to their shooting form, and have them be in their warmups.-Real player intros, avoid corny handshakes and dances as much as possible.-Trash Clark Kellogg and get a better side commentator, or a whole new commentary team. And it doesn't even sound like arenas music, it just sounds like standard menu music. There's no echoing or anything. I post a bit over at the 2k forums, but I stopped because all people do is just complain about what they hate and what they want in the next game. I just hope they work a little harder on player jump shots especially the stars. Plenty of the stars jumpers didnt look like their real one at all. Like Duncan, Pierce, KG (some like it but I think it was horrid, NBA Live has KG's perfect) Gasol, VC (Live also has his perfect) Durant (Live has his perfect too o.o) Baron Davis, Allen Iverson, Dirk... etc. They just gave Pierce, Harrington, Iggy, VC, AK like the same form... thats one thing that pissed me off. I hit a game winner, and all I hear are a few whistles from the crowd, the player who made the shot is just clapping his hands and bobbing his head, and all the players and coach just walk to the locker room like they just lost the game or something. Very annoying. Also, actually MAKING a game winner is hard when there is like no time left. I remember one situation, I'm down by 2 with .6 seconds left, and I inbound the ball to Rashard Lewis, and he couldn't even get his wide open shot off in time before the buzzer sounded.... He caught the ball, paused, and THEN went up for the shot. Of course the buzzer sounded right when the ball was above his head getting ready to shoot. Stupid 2k. That is VERY annoying. You make a game winner to win a finals game and they act like it was to beat the halftime buzzer.... its terrible. And I also agree its hard to get the shot off too with any less then like 2 seconds. In my Celtics season I went for all my game winners when there was around 1 sec left with Eddie House since he had the quickest release and i probably go it off lik 1 time, it was retarded.
