Force
and play behind Harris? I thought he wanted more minutes and have more of an impact.
JWaLL
He's gonna get less time on the Nets than he did on the Lakers.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 11, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 11, 2010 I guess Indiana didn't want him? I read that they were pretty high on his play (for some reason). It's not that bad of a signing for New Jersey, to be honest. Off the bench, Farmar gets up and down the court pretty well. New Jersey doesn't run a complicated offense that demands passing and spacing. Farmar complicates it more. The Nets won't mind having him on the floor in longer stretches. He has no lateral quickness, so his defense won't be anything to pump your fist about, but he does read passing lanes well.
Check my Stats
Signing Blake pretty much sealed his fate.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 11, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 11, 2010 Contribute to the topic, or just stop posting. I'm sick of seeing everything about your favorite teams. It's about the Nets. Discuss Farmar on the Nets, criticize him or give him props with reason behind it, or get out. Signing Blake pretty much sealed his fate. Not really sure about that, though. The Lakers were already done with Farmar the day we won it all. We were expecting Vujacic to play the backup point if we didn't find a backup through free agency. ChosenOne
lol i knew he was not going to be a starter anywhere so this is no surprise, but now the question comes why pay him 4 million a year to be a back up?

The Regime
Not surprised here, I don't understand why Farmar was fantasizing about starting anyway. Have fun playing the same amount of minutes on a losing team.
Universe
Dislike. I wanted Terrence to get the backup minutes which they said they were going to do.
Gorilla Dog
Farmar made the best decision for his personal life and career. He got paid and gets to play for a young up and coming team in the east. A lot of people need to stop hating on Farmar because he can be a good player in the right system with the right players around. People forget Farmar played extremely well when he had talent around him in the 2nd unit with the original bench mob. Farmar will have his best season of his career if he can stay healthy with the Nets. He plays well when he has talent around him and he can run and down the court with his teammates instead of running a complicated offense like the triangle. RD, the reason why he didn't sign with the Pacers is because they only wanted to give him a short term deal.
