Cobb Posted July 12, 2010 Report Share Posted July 12, 2010 Our defense will hopefully be MUCH better with the additions of DT Peria Jerry, LB Sean Weatherspoon, and CB Dunta Robinson. Hopefully this will be the season that Matt Ryan establishes himself as a star quarterback. :glasses: Also, the Falcons waived backup quarterback D.J. Shockley on Friday. This is good for him since it will give him an opportunity to sign with another team before NFL training camps begin later this month. This is Matt Ryan's team anyways so he'd never see the field unless some crazy [expletive] happened and both Ryan and Redman got injured. Kind of funny how the Chiefs couldn't score on their 3rd and 4th drives against our depth players. Next Up: New England this Thursday at 8PM EST. The game will be shown on FOX.
