Billups is a nice player, but I can give you more depth in the positions you need. Billups is primarily a shooter and defender, and you already have that in Jameer. J.R. Smith is virtually useless because you already have Vince Carter, and you have plenty of SG depth with Mickael Pietrus off the bench. And I can give you a better player than Nene in O'Neal, who can block shots, score in the paint, and midrange. You have plenty of depth at guard with Jameer, Carter, Williams, Redick, and Pietrus. What you need are forwards. I can not only give you Michael Beasley at PF, which would put Shard back in his natural position, but I can also give you a good back up in Udonis Haslem, who is a big time upgrade to Bass and Anderson. With O'Neal at center, Gortat still as the back up, Barnes switching to back up, and Chalmers replacing Williams, you have perfect depth at all 5 positions. Whereas in the Nuggets trade, you'll have a lot less depth at SF and PF. Nelson / ChalmersCarter / PietrusLewis / BarnesBeasley / HaslemO'Neal / Gortat Just sayin... LOL.
