Owner Real Deal Posted July 13, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 13, 2010 Not that significant, guys. You do realize that Chandler is far from the player he was two years ago, right? Part of that is due to multiple injuries, part of it is due to no Chris Paul.

Jammin
Oh how the Raptors quickly fall back down to the worst team in the league.
xx.
MJ didn't complete the terrible trade with the Raptors instead thought it over and made even a worse trade Great trade for the Mavs, offensively Chandler has completely lost it, but rebounding and on the defensive end he's still a great center to have. ballorama
Well.. the Bobcats do get Damps HUGE expiring lol. He was a valuable trade piece ya know. Chandlers not bad.. we could use his rebounding and DEFENSE. Haywood-Chandler, Kidd, Dirk, Butler.. not bad. We'll see tho.

ChosenOne
Bad move the Bobcats, but really is not as significant as some are making it for the Mavs, Chandler is well past his prime. Edited July 14, 2010 by ChosenOne
Nitro
Don't understand it at all from the Bobcats side (Chandler is also an expiring so Dampier's expiring means nothing). For the Mavs it's a pretty good move IF Chandler can stay on the floor. He's only played 96 games the last two seasons, and his production has taken a big hit as well (not just the Chris Paul effect offensively, but his rebounding and defensive stats as well). But if he's somewhere inbetween his time with the Hornets and Bobcats, he should fit in nicely. He's a tremendous offensive rebounder, is a better defender with more range than Dampier, and he's a good finisher around the rim.
*Swish*
Good. Chandler is better then Dampier. He's a great defender and a good rebounder if he's given solid minutes. can't wait to see him as a Mavs. we'll see how it works out
