MJ23
While the Chicago Bulls anxiously await the Orlando Magic's decision on whether to match their three-year, $19 million offer sheet to J.J. Redick, Gar Forman and John Paxson should be forming a Plan B. So suppose Chicago does not acquire Orlando's prized backup shooting guard. Why not try to get the Magic's starting shooting guard then? Yes, Vince Carter is not the same player he was in Toronto or New Jersey. Though his skills have deteriorated, he has something even more valuable to teams across the league: a huge expiring contract. That contract could mean room for Carmelo Anthony. The Nuggets' star would be a perfect fit on a Bulls team ready to contend in the Eastern Conference. If the Magic re-sign Redick for the amount the Bulls offered, he will be an expensive reserve. In fact, he alone will cost Orlando roughly $14 million next season, because every dollar the Magic pay him will also have to be paid to the league as a penalty for exceeding the luxury tax. bigdog17k
I'd rather let the Bulls have Carter than Redick. We should be starting Redick.
Blazed49
You'd rather let them have carter for a year then have them have the possibility of landin melo next year? Let them have reddick. He's a reserve for a reason. Especially for that much money.

Nitro
Eh. I don't think Carter would fit that well on the Bulls, and as the Bulls will tell you from this past off-season, it's very difficult to land the biggest fish in free agency. I'd rather get Redick then work out whatever kinks in the roster at the trade deadline or next off-season.
Gorilla Dog
I'd rather have Brewer than a guy who quit on his team if I'm building a young team.

Riot
Say this happened would you rather start Richardson or Deng at SF.No question, Deng. Only problem with him is his 3 point shooting, but with Rashard staying at the 4, and Redick starting, we can still spread the floor. But Deng is the superior player, I think Q would be much better coming off the bench than Deng would be.
drosefan@gmail.com
Well get Redick and that's it...Carter is trash and the Bulls would never ever make an attempt to acquire him.
