Flight
The 32-year-old former Arsenal and Barcelona player signed a multiyear contract on Wednesday and he is expected to make his Red Bulls debut on July 22 in an exhibition against Premier League club Tottenham. "Some people might think I am going to go there for vacation -- I do actually go there for vacation -- but it won't be for vacation this time," Henry said in a video interview on the club website. "I'm a competitor and I don't like to lose." Henry was released by Barcelona last month after scoring just four goals last season. "This marks an exciting new chapter in my career and life," Henry said.http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/news/_/id/5378712/french-striker-thierry-henry-signs-deal-new-york-red-bulls Good to hear he'll get to be a main player again, and we'll get to see him in the US. Brand New
Hopefully this means Landon Donovan could go play with Manchester City. Since the MLS is likely to lose Beckham soon. Edited July 14, 2010 by Brand New
Dash
Hopefully this means Landon Donovan could go play with Manchester City. Since the MLS is likely to lose Beckham soon. Why would you want Donovan to leave? He's the biggest name in US soccer.
fish7718
Eh, still hate this guy for screwing over my Irish, still glad the MLS got another big name to come over, still haven't picked my favorite MLS team, Red Bulls looking enticing

Brand New
Why would you want Donovan to leave? He's the biggest name in US soccer. Why? He's game would improve a lot by playing with good players instead of scrub players like Galaxy. Edited July 15, 2010 by Brand New

Cobb
He is making his MLS debut tonight at 8 PM when the Red Bulls take on Tottenham in the opening match of the Barclays New York Challenge. It's on the Fox Soccer Channel, which I doubt many people have.
AllenIverson#1fan
This guy is a great player. I'm happy he has gotten to be the main guy again, and he's gonna show Barca they shouldn't have released him.
