Cleveland's Finest
All I've heard is his posse is pushing for sign and trade to Atl or New York. Or sign w/Miami. He'll probably go to Atl.

GoldenBaller
I think it would be nice if he went with the Knicks. He would be very popular there.

He would fail in that up-tempo offense. The Knicks are better off playing Amare at the five. Edited July 16, 2010 by Confidence
Jamesus
Yep. He would fail in that up-tempo offense. The Knicks are better off playing Amare at the five. He already failed once. He came in talking his big [expletive], the usual, you know? I think the Knicks will play Amare at the five, and Anthony Randolph beside of him in the paint at the four. Shaq always got in the way for Amare, he clogs the lane on offense.
Poe
Actually, I heard D'Antoni plans to use him at the 4.... which probably means Randolph will play the 5.
Cobb
I'm hoping Atlanta but it doesn't look like it's going to happen now.
*Swish*
either Miami either Atlanta. But I say the Heat got the edge since they got the new Big three. Shaq obviously wants another ring before retire. So I say Miami. But Atlanta Hawks could be another good option for Shaq.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 18, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 18, 2010 Miami is set, with Ilgauskas and Anthony. I'm not so sure they plan on bringing Shaq in, and if they do, it's a big slap in the face to those two guys, one expecting to play more minutes than he did last season (when Shaq was taking them) and the other, a developing defensive-minded big who deserves more playing time on the court. Atlanta is a big question mark. O'Neal can't start over Horford, and Josh Smith shouldn't be moved to the three (he's best suited as a versatile four). But, maybe the Hawks plan on adjusting. If so, Marvin Williams is history, and Horford would obviously slide down to the four, a position he's able to play. Dallas would've made sense, but Chandler and Haywood will do just fine. Those two are the defensive centers the Mavericks have been seeking for quite some time now. With Mbenga likely gone, the Lakers are going to be looking for a backup center. I'm sure the fans will welcome O'Neal back (not all, but some), but I'm not sure Buss will. Plus, he would have to take the vet's minimum, because LA has nothing to trade. New Jersey could use him, even though they signed Petro. I'm still unsure about their pace, though. If they play too fast, Shaq has no chance in that offense. Spurs? That's possible, but Splitter could change everything. I honestly don't know.
