Heat Signing Carlos Arroyo, Jamaal Magloire, and Juwan Howard?

He’s the ninth player to sign with Miami for the coming season, a list that includes his former Cleveland teammate LeBron James(notes). The Heat are expected to add Jamaal Magloire(notes), Juwan Howard(notes) and Carlos Arroyo(notes) in the coming days.

Mike Miller

Mario Chalmers

Joel Anthony

Dexter Pittman

Zydrunas Ilgauskas

 

If they add those 3 would they be done filling the roster since a couple rookies haven't been signed yet or target a couple more veteran free agents?

bring back james jones and they'll be good enough for this 1st season of this project, the other pieces will fall over time..heat have done pretty decent in 8 days of work

Magloire has no business being on the team. Just another six fouls, I guess.

 

Arroyo is nice. He's a low-turnover player that can play within the offense.

 

Howard will provide leadership and 15-20 good minutes on the floor, but you have to wonder how he's going to hold up. He's played for 15-16 seasons.

Heat need Carlos Arroyo. Even though Wade could play PG and Heat also have Chalmers, I think Arroyo should start over Chalmers. He had a great season last season and proved it that he could start.

Arroyo is a great signing, definitiely should start if they decide to go with a traditional lineup (without LeBron or Wade at PG). He's very efficient and a veteran that knows his place within the team. Magloire and Howard are only getting signed because they are big bodies, they won't help all that much.
