Cobb
It remains to be seen what good will come from the Lakers' parting ways with four players who knew the system and pushed the starters in practice and having four new faces at the end of the bench. Powell has received interest from several teams, including Chicago, Denver, Miami and Atlanta, according to league sources.ESPN.com Sigh. He's better than Joe Smith I suppose. *Swish*
Better then nothing I guess. Shaq is better then Josh and I'm sure the Hawks still have a chance to get him. Josh Powell is not a horrible player .. this guy is never given solid minutes. If he was given solid minutes, he'd prove the world he could score 10 points per game. He's a BEAST rebounder.. for the minutes he plays.

*Swish*
Thanks captain obvious.when I say that I mean: that they should try to get Shaq before trying to get Powell and if they can't get Shaq then jump on Powell
Cobb
Powell Close To Deal With Hawks Josh Powell, who spent the last two seasons with the Lakers, is expected to join the Atlanta Hawks. Hawks first-year Coach Larry Drew said, "that's about a done deal." Powell's contract would be for one year for the veteran's minimum of $1.1 million. He'll probably sign it on Monday.Los Angeles Times
