Magic: 'That's not what we were about'

Recommended Posts

please.. that's too much about it. just leave the Heat alone man. Too much threads about this and I'm getting fed up. People are going to argue about the same thing they did in the other thread so.. no need for this thread.

Why is there no need I'm just posting something new which is Magic agrees with Jordan.

yeah but we're going to argue about the same thing and the Heat fan are going to protect their players while the other members will laugh about LeBron

Pretty sure Wade never compared them to a national tragedy. Nice try though.Your obsession with the Heat is getting pretty old.

There's going to be times when we might lose one, two games in a row, maybe two games, three games in a row, you never know. It's going to seem like the world is crashed down. You all are going to make it seem like the World Trade has just went down again. But it's not going to be nothing but a couple basketball games lost and we'll have to get back on track.

Exactly. He never compared the losses to 9/11. He said the media would portray it that way and then went on to say that they're nothing more than a couple basketball games.

No need for this thread? Its Magic [expletive]ing Johnson, his opinion is thread worthy.

And to that nba article, I'm sure wade/advisers paid some good cash to get it re-edited.

My obsession? I haven't posted anything about the Heat in quite a while. Quit being so bitter, nobody is obsessed with the Heat.

The fire and competetiveness that was instilled in Magic, Larry, Michael, and even Kobe isnt in these 3 players. They put their friendship ahead of creating history. The greats listed above did whatever they could do beat their rivals and basked in the glory when they did and when they lost they didnt go and form dynamic duos or trios.

I still dont see what the big deal is. You guys criticize LeBron for not winning then get butthurt when he joins a team to win one.

I wouldnt have critisized him if he went to the bulls which were actually a perfect fit. All star Rose, Wing player in Deng, rising center in noah, plus a new boozer. but he teamed up with 2 top 15 players in the league..

They didn't all sign together in the same offseason, that team was formed over years of development. Not the same thing at all.

Are you serious?

I think he meant they weren't friends back when they were playing in their primes, which they weren't. Now they're like best friends lol.

Do you understand the concept of past/present tense in wording?

I read a book called ''my life'' and Magic Johnson wrote it. It's about all his life since he followed basketball till now. If I remember well he says they were always friends, always joking around etc. but everything was way more serious on the court.

They were never really enemies, but they were definitely bitter rivals. During their career you would never see them hit up a round of golf together, but now that they don't compete against one another they're buddies.
