With a new era in baseball unfolding, in favor of pitching, do you think there will ever be another legitimate 60+ HR hitter?

Depending on what you mean by legitimate... the answer could change.

But I think there will be a 60 home run hitter as early as maybe next season. Too many good hitters, small ballparks, and someone's always going to have a breakout season. See Miguel Bautista. If he can hit 40 while hitting .230 or whatever he's at, with absolutely nothing pointing to him being a slugger in the past, there's no reason to think that we'll never see another one.

Who cares if this is the year of the pitcher. It's not an era of [expletive]ty hitters, and let's say for the next 15 years while these guys cycle out it's all pitching. That still leaves us what, somewhere in the region of 50+ years before we can say we haven't seen that in our lifetime.

Steroid free, "clean", or whatever you want to call it.
