magicbalala245
5. Chauncey Billups — Forget about the “Mr. Big Shot” nickname for a second and consider his 89.2 career free-throw percentage, and that he got a lot of reps shooting clutch free throws during his time with the Pistons. 4. Dirk Nowitzki — Amazing shooter with amazing touch. People like to call Dirk a choker and claim he’s not clutch, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. When the Mavs are trying to protect a lead late in the game, Dirk is ice-water at the line. 3. Kobe Bryant — He’s cold bolded. If the game is at stake, he WON’T miss. Five championship rings and two Finals MVP trophies can’t be wrong. Read the rest to find out who are #1 and #2.
Make It Naaaashty
Kobe should be #1 imo. But I like the list overall. Edited July 30, 2010 by Prodigy
Young&Reckless
Sasha from the Los Angeles Lakers, came out late in the game in Game 7 being put on the line. If he made those two free-throws he would put L.A. as world champions and that is what had happen. So Sasha should be number 1 of course.
Nitro
Here is 82 games' sortable clutch stats from last season: http://www.82games.com/0910/CSORT10.HTM Overall, I'd say either Nash or Nowitzki out of the players who shoot a decent volume of FT's in the clutch. kingfish
Yeah Sasha actually has hit quite a lot of clutch free throws for us. Doesnt get more clutch then icing a game 7 in the Finals. And how the hell is Dirk on that list? I remember him missing free throws in the 06 Finals that led to his team losing. Sasha >>>>>>> Dirk
Owner Real Deal Posted July 30, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 30, 2010 Nash would be my pick. Depending on the magnitude of the game, I will select Kobe over Ray (Bryant gets the nod in a Finals game, but I'd take Ray in the regular season). Lkr
I saw Ray miss plenty of clutch free throws as of late. He missed against the Heat and the Bulls the year before iirc
Cleveland's Finest
I remember when Billups missed a few clutch free throws against the Cavs during a playoff series and we were going crazy. It was a game in Detroit.

His form gives him some bonus points.i agree, Chuck's form is great, but Nick Ander's reputation to get it done in the clutch (especially at the FT line) just puts him over the top
