The Great iBoldin
Everything from now on up to pre-season, we should keep and discuss everything in here. Mainly rookie signings, hold outs, who's playing well and what not. A lot of the first rounders are signing. Latest are Alualu to Jacksonville and Dan Williams with the Cards. EastCoastNiner
Taylor Mays has been elevated to 2nd team defense. I really hope this kid can be a stud. He has a GREAT work ethic, but a lot of doubters like Tim Tebow does. He could be a vital part of one of the premier defenses in the NFL, along with a vastly improving and under-rated Manny Lawson. EastCoastNiner
Mike Iupati and Anthony Davis are looking like absolute beasts during camp so far. Mike Iupati is just demolishing every player that comes his way. This guy is a freakin mauler, and Anthony Davis is huge. Frank Gore should have an excellent season. Vernon Davis looks thinner, but still jacked, and Patrick Willis looks like a [expletive]ing bad-[expletive] now. http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/4511/pwill.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs207.snc4/38671_417598972619_504987619_4869046_5416214_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs227.snc4/38671_417598977619_504987619_4869047_120531_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs259.snc4/40292_417599612619_504987619_4869093_4372777_n.jpg That's right, Mike Iupati carries pads. This guy is a [expletive]ing monster! Also, Anthony Davis is a big [expletive] dude.... Edited August 4, 2010 by EastCoastNiner

EastCoastNiner
My update, sans all the homer bull[expletive] that ECN just posted... Hakeem Nicks hyperextended knee, waiting for MRI results Yes, being a homer is saying Anthony Davis is huge, Mike Iupati is a beast, Patrick Willis looks like a bad-[expletive] and like Michael Jordan, and Frank Gore will have a great season. All of those are facts, except for the Frank Gore comment, not homerisms. It's cool though. You probably still think Eli is better than Romo. . NomarFachix
Yes, I am a homer Thank you. It's cool though. You probably still think Eli is better than Romo. . Does Romo win a ring in '07? Who's to say. Happy with who I have.
EastCoastNiner
Thank you. Does Romo win a ring in '07? Who's to say. Happy with who I have. You proved my point. You couldn't refute anything that I said. Also, Romo is better than Manning, and you can thank the defense for the 07 ring, not Manning. He sucked that game. He sucked that game. 255 yards, 2 TD (including one in a 2 minute drill), Superbowl MVP. Like I said, I'd rather have my guy. Be mad about it, I can tell you already are

EastCoastNiner
My honest guess is that Rogers finishes 1st or 2nd in NFC passing. I really do think that Alex Smith may finish around #5 or #6 in NFC passing, but could do even better.
BasX
Though it seemed obvious before, Ben should only get the 4 games. Meaning 4 games then a bye week. Good News. Also, according to Bruce Arians, he wants to get Heath Miller move involved in the passing game but it is dependent on the O-Line. Meaning, nothing is likely to change unless Flozell Adams is half decent and Pouncey has an excellent rookie year.

Romo, Rogers, Manning, Farve, and Brees I can see having the clear advantage, but I'm not sure about Matt Ryan and McNabb. Ryan didn't even do that well last year, and McNabb is on the Redskins. I really think that if the 49er's O-Line does its job, Alex Smith can flourish.
