EastCoastNiner
Well, it looks as though Alex Smith and Vernon Davis are connecting near perfectly so far in camp. They have been two players that I've barely heard anything negative about, and most of the catches are deep balls.....so I'm hoping it's the offense being nast and not the defense sucking. . EastCoastNiner
The two 1st round rookie O-linemen, Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati have already been named starters. They are going to beasssssstttttt this year. I'm more worried about Davis than Iupati, but I think it will work out.
NomarFachix
Why hasn't this thread been renamed "ECN's Homer Thread" yet?
The Great iBoldin
Apparently the Jets receiving core has been getting rave reviews from Jets brass. Braylon looks great, Holmes is as well. Cotchery has had some nice plays and even David Clowney is playing incredibly well in their scrimmages. Would add a nice dimension along with that running game.
NomarFachix
I've always had a chub for Clowney, he's a preseason stud. Looked to finally have a chance lined up last year before he got injured. The Ratliff to Clowney connection was unstoppable
The Great iBoldin
Some people had some high hopes for Ratliff, including me. I think he's still in Cleveland, probably going to cut with the better (yet surprisingly still awful) quarterbacks Mangina brought in. I hate the Jets, but they definitely have some damn good WR's.

It's a legit proposition, especially with Keller and LT added to the mix. Sanchez to Keller has been popular so far in training camp, as well. fish7718
You'll see why Alex Smith was taken ahead of Rogers after this season. :glasses: . Alex Smith>>>>Aaron Rodgers My honest guess is that Rogers finishes 1st or 2nd in NFC passing. I really do think that Alex Smith may finish around #5 or #6 in NFC passing, but could do even better. As long as we're bumping topics, He'll pass for 3,500+ yards and 25+ TD's.
