Guest STL10
Tomorrow night at 7pm, NBA TV will televise the NBA Schedule Selection Special 2010 to announce the most prominent national televised games for the upcoming NBA season.. Normally, the NBA would just release the schedule into a press release or a memo..but this is the year of the ‘decision,’ so why not have a TV special to highlight the best games..According to my sources within the Cavaliers organization, the Cavs will host the Miami Heat on opening night..This is the match up the fans have demanded in Cleveland..and the NBA execs figure that is the least they could do for the city that LeBron spurned and subsequently changed forever.. However, there are other reports out of Orlando, the Magic will be playing the Heat on opening night..This match-up makes more sense and will be a much better game..especially with Dwight Howard’s recent comments refusing to acknowledge the Three Kings of Miami..Whatever the match up is, expect LeBron and the Heat to be involved..and according to various reports, fans will get a Christmas day gift featuring the Three Kings against Kobe and the Lakers..now that is a Christmas gift come early..can’t wait for the most anticipated season ever..-TO LINK Also...http://i25.tinypic.com/2qwfswk.jpg Edited August 3, 2010 by STL10
Flash
I think you'll get Orlando @ Miami and then Boston @ LA as the late game.

SRV
Miami should have its first game at home, no point in keeping the home town waiting.
JWaLL
I hope the game is in Cleveland, haha the booing would be as constant as the vuvuzelas in the World Cup.
SRV
They can't possibly boo all game. If they are winning, they will cheer, if they are losing, who knows what will happen. They will only boo when Lebron gets the ball, and I doubt he cares.
Dash
Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer has refuted reports that the Heat will open the season in Cleveland. "Despite some reports out there, Heat NOT currently slated to open season in Cleveland. Schedule not finalized yet anyway, tho," Windhorst wrote on Monday afternoon.Read more: http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/68488/20100802/heat_cavs_not_slated_to_play_in_opener/#ixzz0vVfycXC8
Lkr
I think you'll get Orlando @ Miami and then Boston @ LA as the late game.I don't think an eastern conference team will play a western conference team opening night, tbh. I think the Lakers vs Thunder would be an appealing matchup for TNT's opening night with the ring ceremony and all
Cleveland's Finest
Not true. Home opener is against Boston the 27th. - Also heard one of Heat's visits to CLE is Mar 29. MIA Should have 2 trips to CLE; had just 1 last year. However, full sked not yet final. -Per source - outside #Cavs organization lest they get fined (again) - Cavs slated to open season Oct. 27 home vs. Celtics.
