After 2 unretirements, a season with the Jets plagued by injuries, and the comeback story of 2009, people are willing to believe that the leader of almost all major statistical passing categories is willing to hang up his cleats? Please. Favre has just as much a chance of retiring as Tavaris Jackson does trying to do what Favre failed to do last season: advance to the Super Bowl. Saying that Favre does not want a chance to win another Super Bowl would be saying that he's a quitter, but there's no way the quarterback who started an NFL-record 285 consecutive regular season starts will just give up now. Jenneral
Unless Favre has been a part of one of your teams, please don't talk. His ankle is in shambles. There's no doubt that he wants to continue playing, but physically his ankle just isn't there - even after the surgery he had this offseason.
