Owner Real Deal Posted August 6, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted August 6, 2010 Buss will be dead by the time Shaq retires. His son doesn't know anything about basketball, so your reasons won't be a drawbackBy the looks of things, the entire Buss family will be history by the time Shaq retires, so it'll be in Los Angeles. He hasn't done anything significant ENOUGH to get his jersey retired elsewhere. Dwight Howard will end up being the greatest player Orlando has ever seen (he's already won more Finals games than Orlando's Shaq, granted it's just one) and the Heat will be too busy slobbering over James and Wade to even remember the 2006 Shaq. Shaq was just flat out dominant. Unless Dwight can last longer than Shaq, he will never eclipse him. Unless you mean Dwight will be the greatest Orlando player since he stayed there longer

By the end of his career, Howard will be one of the best defensive centers in the last 20 years (he already is, really), and if he continues to improve his offensive game, even though it's coming slowly, he'll most definitely surpass Shaq as the greatest player in Orlando's history.
ChosenOne
TMac was the greatest player in Orlando history. Shaq's jersey belongs in Staples, and will be there when his career comes to an end.
Newman
Definitely in LA. He played a huge role (if not the largest) in getting Lakers those 3 Championships to start off the decade. 3 Finals MVP in a row should deserve some recognition up in the rafters. Yes, he joined the Celtics. Yes, now Lakers fans are going to hate him. But what he has done in LA should not go unnoticed.

Definitely not Kobe so he without a doubt played the biggest role there.
