Built Ford Tough
Dolan/Walsh statement: "He will provide valuable insight and analysis of young prospects from around world.'' 7 minutes ago via web Knicks are about to announce Isiah Thomas will be named a part-time consultant to club but keeps his job at FIU. Weird. As long as the only thing that they are "consulting" him about is the NBA Draft, good move. If they are "consulting" him about anything else, well, good luck. NomarFachix
I agree, Zeke has always been plus with his drafts. Just keep him out of the loops about everything else.

The Next Knick
Wilson Chandler was a very good pick at 23rd a couple of years ago, and I think Zeke has a good eye for talent so this looks to be a decent decision by Donnie.
Flash
Renaldo Balkman baby!
The Next Knick
Flash: I loved Balkman. I still remember being so pissed on the night he was chosen only to end up liking him after seeing how much he hustled and loved to win. The epic '06 draft with Mardy/Balkman <

La Bomba
I really wonder how FIU feels about all this. They won seven games last season and now he's going to dedicate even less time to them. Granted, FIU is no Kentucky or UNC, where the pressure to recruite top players and to win is much greater compared to FIU, but I'm not really sure his head is in FIU right now.
