I think their scoring averages will be about what they have been for their career.Thats what I was thinking....i really think Wade will get 26 and Lebron will be in the ballpark, if not maybe more. Bosh is gonna be the one that takes the hit here, but I doubt he cares.

Nitro
I think almost everyone that's posted in this thread is short-selling them. I think their scoring averages will be about what they have been for their career. If they keep roughly the same scoring averages from the last few seasons we're talking around/over 80PPG from 3 guys. Not happening. At best that means 9 other guys would have to average 3PPG or less to get to 110pts, which IMO is the ceiling for this team since they will likely have a defensive identity considering it IS the Miami Heat. Also, because the team is so deep they will not be playing the same kind of minutes as previous seasons, so even if they somehow did carry the same load as in the past, they won't reach the same stats. Bron/Wade averaging 25 a piece and Bosh throwing in 18-19 is about the most you will see from these guys.

Owner Real Deal Posted August 9, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted August 9, 2010 If the big three keep their previous season's scoring averages, they won't even get the top seed in the conference. I doubt the three provides THAT much scoring. As for LeBron getting a triple-double...really? http://i36.tinypic.com/10y2zkm.jpg
Poe
I don't know if I can predict exact averages. The team will be fast paced, that's for sure. Running and gunning, to give the big three as many chances to produce as possible. They'll be comparable to the 80s Showtime Lakers. But I suppose it doesn't hurt to give a shot at a prediction: LeBron James: 25 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assistsDwyane Wade: 26 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assistsChris Bosh: 19 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists People might laugh at the idea of LeBron averaging so many assists, but look at how many he was able to average on mediocre offensive teams. Imagine what he'll average playing with two 20+ ppg scorers.
Owner Real Deal Posted August 16, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted August 16, 2010 That mediocre offensive team he was on had a ton of shooters, and James was basically the primary ball-handler. Really...the only ball-handler.
Poe
That mediocre offensive team he was on had a ton of shooters, and James was basically the primary ball-handler. Really...the only ball-handler. I'm thinking back to 07-08 when his second best scorer was 14 ppg Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and he still averaged 7 assists per game. His next best scorers were Hughes, West, and Gooden. None of which averaged more than 12. I'd say that's pretty mediocre. The offense on his team did get better over the past couple years, and his numbers took a direct affect (8.6 apg last year with Williams, Jamison, Shaq, Parker, etc). Now he's going to be the primary ball handler (at least I believe he will be) with two 20 point per game scorers, plus shooters to space the floor in Miller, House, Big Z, Chalmers, etc. Perhaps I'm wrong about 11 apg. Maybe it's a bit much. I'm not so good at predicting averages, but I do believe they will go up. Edited August 16, 2010 by Poe
