The Goods
Celtics president Danny Ainge believes that the current incarnation of his team is better than the one that won the 2008 NBA title. "Yes, definitely I think we're a better team now," Ainge said Tuesday. Since Boston won the title two seasons ago, Rajon Rondo and Kendrick Perkins have improved and the team has signed Rasheed Wallace. "I think Rondo and Perkins' improvement has been dramatic," said Ainge, who added: "I do feel an enthusiasm again. People are excited like they were two summers ago." OldChili
Well Rondo and Perkins are getting better, but their stars are getting older. But I agree with him, they're better than they were two years ago.
Erick Blasco
I think they were at their best two years ago because they had Posey. He made such a difference on that team, and he really made that defense exceptional. They still haven't replaced him.
Multi-Billionaire
^I tend to agree with you as he shored up their perimeter defense... however if Sheed is motivated they can be very good... which at this stage I'm still skeptical about.
