Irvin was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August 2007, and the superstar receiver was not content to celebrate like most would. According to the former Cowboy, his wife summoned him to bed following his induction ceremony. But Irvin was in no mood to remove the commemorative jacket, so he compromised. Irvin says he "kept the blazer on because I wanted to perform like a Hall of Famer on the field and off." The story surfaces as the Pro Football Hall of Fame welcomes its latest members, a marquee class including NFL legends Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith.
