kingfish
I want to play some old xbox games cause there were some really good ones back in the day, I went to this site to see which ones I can play. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm But it says Note: A software emulator is required for each original Xbox game you play on your Xbox 360™ console. I got my xbox in like late 2008, whats a software emulator and can my 360 play the games on that list? Or do I need to buy something extra. Also will I be able to use game saves? Like save my progress in the games. Edited August 10, 2010 by kingfish

moeroadkill
welllllllllll as far as my knowledge goes because i tried to play old xbox games ages ago. i think you can only play a certain games by developer.. (eg only ubisoft games you can play on your 360) if you follow. i looked to find something to buy download but i found nothing, however this was 3 maybe 4 years ago? so something may of came out. im sure you know but if you have xbox live, go into the marketplace and there are a lot of original xbox games there, possibly the game you are after is in there. a wild shot in the dark. you may be able to mod you xbox 360 to play old xbox games but then again its a risky thing to do if you dont know what your doing. i dont know if i even answered your question
