Cobb
Falcons win 20-10. Vick also looked decent for the Eagles. Looks like he's got his speed back.
The Regime
I love what Kevin Kolb did, he looked pretty sharp. McNabb didn't look so bad himself, I think both guys will fare well this season. The Bills just got demolished lol, they are so horrible lol. Make It Naaaashty
Vick definitely looked like he got his speed back. Kolb played better than I expected him to play, hopefully he can play well enough to compete with the Cowgirls in their division. lol

Cobb
Jets’ starters to play past 1st quarter vs Giants CORTLAND, N.Y. (AP)—Mark Sanchez(notes) and the rest of the Jets’ starters are going to get some extra time to shake off their offseason rust. Coach Rex Ryan said Saturday that his starters on offense and defense will play a little past the first quarter in New York’s preseason opener against the Giants on Monday night at the New Meadowlands Stadium. “Because we’ve had such a long time off, that’s probably what we’ll do,” Ryan said. Sanchez is looking forward to the game, his first since having the patella-stabilizing ligament in his left knee repaired in February. He said he has had no problems with it during training camp, and is eager to test it in a game situation. :o

EastCoastNiner
Ughhh!! The 49er's first two possessions were [expletive]. Michael Robinson fumbles on the first play, but the defense held them to 3 points. The O-line messed up on the second possession, and then Peyton did his thing when the Colts got the ball. However, it was against the second unit defense, so it's not as worrisome as it would be if it were the first unit. LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!! EastCoastNiner
Wow......Vernon Davis was WIDDDDEEE open and Alex Smith misses him. This [expletive] can't happen!!!!!! Edited August 15, 2010 by EastCoastNiner
EastCoastNiner
It's only pre-season and Frank Gore and Michael Crabtree are out, along with Mike Iupati and Anthony Davis making their first starts, so I want to give them a pass so far, but Alex Smith needs to work on his accuracy. Flash
Packers lost to the Browns last night but Rodgers looked excellent going 12/13 for 159 yards and a TD to Jennings.

EastCoastNiner
I would really like to see the 49er's offense with Frank Gore and Michael Crabtree next week to get a better sense of where the offense is at. The defense will be one of the premier defenses in the league, especially the run defense. Their run defense was extremely impressive today. Make It Naaaashty
Mathews tried to keep his mind off his unofficial debut all day, then vomited in the locker room shortly before the game. “Nerves,” he said afterward. Mathews ran nine times for 50 yards and caught one pass at the line of scrimmage, bowling through one tackle for a 7-yard gain. “It was crazy at first,” Mathews said. “My adrenaline was going.” http://football.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/18102/20100815/ryan_mathews_vomits_before_impressive_nfl_debut/
