Make It Naaaashty
The Knicks are reportedly willing to trade Danilo Gallinari as the centerpiece of a package to acquire Carmelo Anthony. During his Tuesday show on ESPN Radio in New York, Michael Kay cited sources in reporting that the Knicks will offer Gallinari, a future first-round pick and Eddy Curry in a bid to acquire Carmelo Anthony from Denver. Curry's contract would be included to make the trade work under the salary cap. The next first-round pick the Knicks can trade is their 2014 selection. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/68730/20100817/sources_knicks_will_offer_gallinari_in_package_for_melo/
Cleveland's Finest
I hope the Knicks don't get him because then the Cavs definitely won't make the playoffs and I'll have nothing to hope for.
JYD
I can't see Denver doing this. Gallo is not even close to equal talent, Eddy Curry's contract is appealing, obviously not the player, and the 2014 pick is so far away, how much can they like that? Not even close to enough to trade.
Klashnekoff
Why would they take a completely useless player in Curry when they can take Troy Murphy of the nets who has 1 more million on his contract then Curry, can actually ball (12 rpg) and isn't useless. Gallo wouldn't be enough .. also lmao the knicks have no picks ..

*Swish*
Bad news for the Nuggets. If they lose Melo theyre screwed even though they get Gallinari and fillers. Anyways, its really exciting news to hear. I would really like to see this for the Knicks and Amare. I dont know if two great scorers (Amare and Melo) would fit together but if they have team chemistry it will be easier for them to play against the Heat or the Lakers. Time for Melo to pack up
