Offensively we have to get our running game established which will then open up the passing game for Alex Smith. No chance in Hell of a top three defense. I'm not going to say "Top 3", but he probably has more ammo to throw at you supporting his claim than you do at border-line "top 10". You want to tell me what they were ranked in yards, points, rush defense, red zone defense, and games with no offensive TD's allowed? I won't argue about them being a "top 3" defense, but saying they are borderline "top 10" is somewhat insulting.
