Phightins, I'm sorry but....Kolb is trash.

I am not sure how he could possibly be blamed for this game. The defense can't tackle, the o-line is horrendous, his receivers are dropping passes thrown right at their chests, the kickoff/punt return coverage is horrible, and there are dumb penalties on both sides of the ball.

And the sample size with Kolb is way too small to make any kind of judgement.

Dude, I want to make myself believe that. I do.

But he's just making too many bad decisions out there. It's not looking good at all.

I dunno. Again, I can't blame him for today when the rest of the team is beyond pitiful. Kolb has gotten next to no chance to prove himself, so I don't think it's particularly fair to rush to judgement. Will he wind up being good? Who knows, I just don't see enough of a sample size to decide yet. He looks pretty overmatched right now, but I'd like him to get a significant amount of time to prove himself.

Also, the officials suck even worse than the Eagles today. Wow.

I will agree on the refs. How that one play wasn't intentional grounding I will never know. Refs are blind.

Yep. And that BS roughing the passer call earlier killed all kinds of momentum. And of course the whole play clock incident at the end of the first half, but I am more inclined to blame Andy for that.

Redskins 2-0 in the division, that's what I like most about the win. We got some momentum (I guess you can call it that) going into the toughest part of our schedule.

I'm not too mad about our offense to be honest, Trent Williams was out and Stephon Heyer is flat out terrible. He had at least 4 penalties that cost us. Our run game was very good, I won't say great, but it got the job done. Torrain showed some promise, and Portis looked very solid. I am worried about his injury though, it would've been best to keep him out when he first got hurt and was on the sidelines.

As for McNabb and his God awful performance in the second half, I won't get too worked up about it. We focused on the run, and that got us the win. If that's what it takes to win games, then so be it.

The defense needs some work. McCoy was running all over our defense, it seems like it happens with every speedy back. Our defenses simply do not understand the concept of wrapping their arms around the ball carrier and taking them down.

And is Kolb really that bad? The coaching staff of the Eagles were so conservative with him as soon as Vick got out. all of them were either dump offs, screens, or passes within the first down marker. No deep plays, and it hurt the offense in general. You gotta give Desean Jackson the ball and let him do work.
