Flash
Kolb just took a big fat [expletive] all over Cobb and Flash Vick is still better. This doesn't erase how [expletive]ty Kolb looked this season up until yesterday.

Flash
U need a pocket passer in the playoffs thats why Kolb is better and would bring them farther Kolb isn't better. The Eagles receivers are the perfect receivers for Vick to throw to because he won't need to beat anyone deep with his throws. He'll throw it about 10-15 yards down the field and let Jackson and Maclin do their thing and get plenty of YAC. Then he brings the ability to run much better than Kolb. I just think Vick fits this offense better and that they respond better when Vick is in there.
NomarFachix
Vick is still better. This doesn't erase how [expletive]ty Kolb looked this season up until yesterday. So... don't erase how [expletive]ty Kolb looked in the first two quarters of the first quarter of the year? Tremendous measuring stick. NomarFachix
In the two games Kolb has started and finished, the Eagles have posted 826 total yards of offense. In Vick's two, 783. Kolb's statline in his two start and finishes:44/60, 579 Yards, 73% Completion, 4 TD, 119 QB Rating Vick's:38/65, 575 Yards, 59% Completion, 5 TD, 114 QB Rating I'm not really trying to debate who has been the better QB or who is the better QB... Though the numbers are there for you to form your own opinion. Just eat your crow that you called the guy [expletive]ty, terrible, whatever you called it... All based off 2 quarters of football. "But Vick is still better" doesn't cover it... You called him awful, own up and admit you were wrong.
Phightins
The bottom line is that Michael Vick is not the future of this team. He may be decent now, although even that is kind of hard to tell. He played well in two full games against terrible defenses, and in one half against a defense that had no time to prepare for him. That is all well and good. He exceeded my expectations, and for that I ate my crow. However, I stand by what I have been saying all along, that the Eagles brutally mismanaged this situation. Kevin Kolb needs to get a chance to prove himself. When the Eagles traded Donovan McNabb, it was not so that they could hand the controls over to Michael Vick. It was so that they could hand the controls over to the guy they spent a 2nd round pick on and 3 years grooming for the job. And no, despite what Flash and some other Vick supporters may be saying, 2 quarters against the Packers is nowhere close to a fair amount of time for Kolb to prove himself. I can understand that people who are not fans of this team/are not around coverage of this team every day will be narrow minded. To those people, everything is about the results in the here and now, and they don't really have any interest/concern in the future of the team. Michael Vick is a 30 year old who has always been overrated as a passer, relies mostly on his legs, and takes many big hits. That is not a recipe for a very long NFL career. Andy saw him have success after Kolb got hurt, and he also saw the rest of the division sucking, so he went against everything he had worked towards over the last 3 years and let Vick play. He decided to ditch the idea of a "transition season", which may or may not result in a win or two more this season, but in the long run may be disastrous. Kolb needs to play, period. NomarFachix
Problem, Fish? Don't talk [expletive] if you don't want to own up to it when you're wrong... It's a fairly simple concept. Be humble/a man and admit your mistake.
