I repeat

Kubiak fired yet?

Probably not going to happen with the possible lockout. Plus I'm sure McNair fell in love with Kubes again after the way we played in the second half, never mind the fact that we lost.

When the two defensive linemen were in the backfield off the snap, pressuring Schaub into an interception... my initial thought was to blame Kubiak too.

Regardless Kubiak is an awful coach and needs to go.

It's not that one play it's how mediocre the Texans play and how messed up his play calling is. Just because Shaub rallied the Texans back doesn't erase all the crap the Texans fans have had to sit through with Kubiak at the helm.

People on this board try and place too much blame on their coach when the personnel simply can't match up with the opposition...

I defended the Kubiak extension from last season and felt the same way about the Texans. However, its been 4 years of mediocre football now. At point is it finally the coach's fault?

Blame the GM for not picking up competent offensive linemen or defensive backs... [expletive], blame the GM for not signing Dunta to a damn extension when he was crying for one for seasons. Look at what he's done for that Falcons secondary.

Blame Kubiak if you want, but if Schaub has time in the pocket on a freaking 4 man rush, there's no pick 6. Starts in the trenches.

I never said that Kubiak is the only person to blame for the Texans struggles, Rick Smith and Bob McNair are pitiful but a competent coach could have saved Houston one or two more wins. If the Texans are ever going to be a playoff team, Gary Kubiak can't be at the helm. Simple as that. Besides if someone is performing poorly at their job then I don't see anything wrong with getting rid of him.

I am not saying it's all on Kubiak but it starts at the top and the coach always gets the burden of success and failure and you can't spin it in a favorable manner for Gary Kubiak.

He's a nice guy and all, but I don't see anything wrong with criticizing him it comes with the job. He's had his chance and unfortunately for him lack of execution has made him look like a questionable coach in certain situations, at the end of the day the Texans have yet to make the playoffs and will end the year taking a step back no reason to defend Gary.
