trutrojan8
Im not simplifying it, im telling you whats true. Baseball is the simplest sport ever, hit the ball and THATS IT. In soccer and basketball you have to work like a team to score, football you actually have to catch the ball, run through defenses and [expletive], soccer you have to run through defenses pass, same with baseball, all you do in baseball is hit the ball, THATS ALL.Alright, if it's so simple tell me this You're playing right field. Runner on first, ball gets hit into the gap. Who do you throw it to? That's a very simple question.
YugoRocketsFan
Lol you make it sound so easy. A pitcher vs a batter is like an athletic chess match every at bat. A contest where mental abilities meets physical abilities, apparently this is too tough for you to understand. If you want to go that into depth then I can say that soccer is a chess match with 20 players who find out where to attack and when.
Karl Malone
Hitting and Catching. Mainly hitting though, because the whole point is to see if you can hit a fan in the bleachers.

Ball in the gap, you have the ball, where do you go with it? Wait i thought we were talking about physicality not terminology? That's like a chess player asking a Football player what to do if his knight is cornered. Does that mean chess is harder than Football. Obviously you have to be smarter in chess but i thought we were talking about physicality. Edited July 17, 2009 by B4KED

Throw it to the cut off man, which is somewhat near second. At least you're not as arrogant as Bosnian.
EastCoastNiner
Every sport that has been mentioned in this thread takes a lot of skill. Soccer- You have to be able to make good passes, dribble, shoot, play defense, and have good endurance. - Baseball- You have to hit a SMALL ball coming at you from 60 feet at speeds VARYING from 60-100+MPH, with different movements and placements every pitch, and that is just the hitting aspect. I can make both sound very simple though: - Soccer- You runs around and kick a ball......and fall. - Baseball- You hit a ball with a bat. I have played baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, and lacrosse on teams, and I can honestly say that hitting a baseball is one of the toughest things to do. BTW, Slaven, since you're European and more people live in Europe than the United States(The type of argument you like to use to say something is better), and you guys are soooo smart, and hitting a baseball is so easy, can you tell me why having a .300 batting average is considered very good, even though it's number is usually considered a failure? But you never answered my comment. If I wanna watch a sport tahts a cheat.I rather go watch the WWE at least they make it look good. How can you go to sleep at night, knowing you have just watched a game where people are pumped with steroids and cheated to gain the outcome they did? Im sure scoring a goal is 10x harder than hitting a baseball, you have defenders trying to stop you and a goalkeeper. And in soccer when you kick the ball you can make it curve too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTKPdeWAeI8
