The Great iBoldin
Damn. We got 5 1 hour 10 min. classes, 30 min. lunches, from 7:35 to 2:37. One advantage we have if that for seniors we can miss final exams 3rd tri. if we do all of our volunteer hours. I dno if other schools do that. Well, how big is your school? Ours is like 1,000, or a little more. My class is like 260. Maybe size has to do with it. I think our school is like 1,200, maybe less. Canada is different, we only have four classes a day, 1 hour and a 17 minutes long. Probably has something to do with it. Either way, a Canadian education > American in most cases. Flash
You're right, since they can't speak English they shouldn't be educated! Reading comprehension fail.

SRV
My math teacher blows at english, so thats always fun. Thankfully all my other teacher speak perfect english, except my music teacher, but hes funny and I understand what he is saying. I got destroyed by the rain today. I got out of class, and the day was [expletive]ty but it wasn't raining. I get halfway to the parking garage and a hurricane appears out of nowhere and destroys me. I dropped my phone on the street because I was running, then my pants kept falling down because I was wearing shorts and I had a bunch of stuff in my pocket, it was very exciting. On top of that, I was driving home in the rain, so I was being careful (I was still going 45 in a 35) and [expletive]ing speed racer behind me got impatient and switched lanes and cut me off in the middle of a turn, I felt like chasing after him and honking at his car for 10 minutes, he had a license plate from Oregon so I don't know what he was in such a rush for, he probably lives on campus anyway. *Swish*
650 words? I dream of having a paper that short, I do about 2000-2500 words in my English college class.wow that's horrible. I'm only 16 though! how old are you? and.. I didn't write for 2 months and the first class in the morning he tells us to take out a paper and write about our summer reading
SRV
650 words is only a few paragraphs. Plus, posting on a forum helps bull[expletive] flow easily into your mind. My essays have three good points, and the other 400 words is just things that float into my mind as I am writing, and I usually get an A or a high B. Just like my forum posts, most of them are stupid, pointless posts, but every once in a while I get a good point in lol

Dash
First day wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Teachers just introduced themselves and the course and had some minor lectures.
JYD
Interesting first day, went relatively smoothly. For those of you who don't go I'm going to a CC about 25 minutes from my house. It's one of the better and bigger ones in the state, so it's closer to going to a real college then most CC's. Anyway I drove there, drive went well. Get there, and the parking lot is packed. Now don't get me wrong, it's 10:30, classes started at 8, so I knew it was going to be quite crowded. Packed? No. I didn't know there wasn't going to be a spot! There are seven lots. I drive around lot 1, the biggest, and there are zero spots. As a matter of fact, I feel like I'm on my way to a Giants game as there are 20 cars in front of me searching for a spot as well. I continue to drive around, go to lot two, by now with the traffic and how many circles I did in lot 1(with it being teh biggest lot, i figure damn theres gotta be a spot somewhere here) i enter lot two having run up10-15 minutes looking for a god damn parking spot! I came early for my class as it was only 10:00 at this point and the class started at 10:30. But it ended up taking 20 minutes to find a spot when one of the students finally left a spot on the corner. Thats by far the worst part. The classes were alright. My sociology teacher was real chill, but we already have homework in the book and I've yet to purchase the book. Same with Math...already have homework, yet I don't have the books yet for it. Math is 2 hours, the other class i only 1 hr 20 min. The math class is going to go by real slow. It has about 25 kids and they are all wack as hell. and the teacher is a weirdo. it's going to suck.
trutrojan8
My english teacher is so chill, he always lets us go outside to read, and plays guitar and [expletive]. he lets us have like 10 minute breaks where we just go to the bathroom or w/e.. i've never had a teacher like him. SRV
I skipped my math class today...didn't think I would skip a class this early, but I am doing retard math now so I don't need help with that. I spent my class time eating at chik fil a talking with my friends, I love college lol

La Bomba
I don't know about Canada, but here, senior year is basically your least important year. Literally, the second I get accepted into college I'm going to do the minimum to keep my scholarships and graduate without any problems. SRV
Senior year is a joke...aside from my anal math teacher, none of the teachers hassle you. If you really screwed up, then senior year won't help, its only if you are right on the edge.

Guru
Okay, so first day of class. My teacher, a Japanese man that barely knows English about 40 years old, asks us why we think Money and Banking is important. (Money and Banking is the name of the class) After shutting down several answers, he writes the word CREAM on the board. And he said "As the great Wu-Tang Clan said, Cash Rules Everything Around Me." I almost fell off of my chair from laughing so hard, it came out of nowhere hahaha.
