Rivers says that Rondo is the "smartest player" he's coached. That's saying something when you consider he's coached Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. "He’s the smartest player that I've ever coached. His basketball IQ is off the charts," Rivers told Comcast Sportsnet. Good to see such a young player with such a basketball IQ. Got to love how he plays and his court vision. (I really loves when he does the fake in his lay-up) it's really pretty and smart at the same time. I believe Doc Rivers says the truth.
