Taber
3.5mil a year for one of the best kickers in the league is a solid deal. Glad we resigned him.

Glad we resigned him. lol you would never go against you Pats anyways, they could have paid him 10 mil a year and you would have said good signing. lol this is a dumb deal, no kicker deserves this much. Tell any New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, or Carolina Panters fan that, and ask them if they would like their team to spend $3 mil/year to win a Super Bowl. I'm sure some teams wish they had Adam Vinneteri, and if you don't think 3 mil is worth a Super Bowl, I don't know what to tell you. Gostowski is money, and he plays in poor weather conditions for a good portion of the year. Ask Fish if he'd want his team to pay $3 mil for a kicker last year. . Rather have my kicker make his kicks at 3.5mil instead of being cheap and having him kick bad. It isn't bad at all no matter the team if its for one of the best kickers in the NFL. He is making about 2mil this year anyways. Interesting all the guys signing deals are ones who go to camp and wait it out lol
fish7718
It's an uncapped year, [expletive] if the Pats wanna do it let em, you don't know what u had in a kicker until it's gone

People don't seem to understand how valuable kickers are. The Colts and Saints would have lose at least 2-3 more games EACH if the opposing team's kickers could have...well.....kicked.... La Bomba
Good for him. He's a Memphis alum. Hopefully this means he gives money to our football program with this new paycheck.
