Knicks Sign Patrick Ewing, Jr.

Donnie Walsh announced today that forward Patrick Ewing, Jr. has been signed by the Knicks as a free agent. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

 

Ewing, 6-8, 240-pounds, averaged 4.8 points over 11.3 minutes in four games for the Knicks entry at the 2010 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, NV, and also averaged 11.3 points over 27.3 minutes for Orlando’s entry at the 2010 Orlando Pro Summer League.

Why is this guy getting a shot and not Antonio Anderson? Anderson was a D-League All-Star and he was light years better than Ewing in college.

 

Anderson is getting a tryout with the Rockets.

"Dime dozen?" I was trying to say there's a lot of similar players in the d-league with his attributes who haven't gotten similar opportunities. haha, unless you disagree with that?

i do. the last name certainly helps, THAT i don't disagree on. but he is one helluva an athlete with extraordinary size and length. i definitely think he has more upside then people think.
