Can Lebron ever save his image?

He used to be one of the most beloved players in the NBA, especially by the media. Now hes viewed as a prima donna, a coward, a jerk, someone who couldnt lead a team and willingly quit, etc. Is it possibly for him to ever save his image?

I don't care about LeBron the person, all I care about is LeBron the player, so as far as I am concerned nothing has changed, he is just on a better team now.

Better team ya, even though his Cavs were slated to win it all by half the world. Talent means nothing until u win it all hunnie.

If he's still obnoxious on the court with the handshakes and the immature celebrations, he won't.

No matter how the regular season ends, with him winning the MVP. He has to prove he can be the star of a championship team. If he defers to Wade when it matters, it only slights him.

We know what he can do in the regular season. With 2 top ten players alongside him, can he win a title as the star? Or will he accept the sidekick role and prove he isn't good enough for the clutch moments in the playoffs.

He noticeably held himself back in the playoff games for us, so now that he's "happy", he might be good.

Yea, a couple of game into the season, if we are as good as we should be, people will forget about the off court issues, and focus on his game. People might hate the Heat, but everyone will watch Heat games.

Haha its funny when you guys say all I care about is what he does on the court, but he is just as arrogant on the court: from the gay chalk in the air to all of the stupid dances. All of this factors into his image in my opinion. It's one thing when you are winning rings and being big-headed, but until he does he should chill with all of the antics. Maybe one day he will mature, but who knows.

Yea, a lot of athletes are douche bags on and off the court. It doesn't take away from their skill. Ochocinco is about as crazy and immature as you can get, but everyone loves him, but Lebron is just cocky and people say he has a bad attitude. Allen Iverson, massive pain in the [expletive] on and off the court, but people don't hate on him for that.

Some people are born like that, and nothing can change them.

Really good answer by DaBearFan. If he goes back to win a ring in Cleveland.. he will have a better image

lol no then all the Miami fans will hate him.

Only time will fix his image, people eventually forget about this/start caring less.

Yeah but Iverson doesnt [expletive] around on the court and people respect him for giving so much effort in his game. He put his body behind his team and when he got hurt he wasnt arrogant and shoot lefty free throws to showboat to the crowd. Sure he had his many issues but his image is still better than Lebron.

Iverson had an [expletive] load of off court problems, legal problems. If thats more acceptable than showboating then something is wrong in today's society. Sure, showboating is annoying, but not as bad as all the things Iverson did off the court.

Thats like saying its ok to beat your wife, but if you have a good attitude on the job its all good.
