ChosenOne
We have a one point lead right now but defensiely we are playing very poor.
Cobb
Wow, Brazil has been on fire. USA down by 6 at the end of the first. Looks like we've got a game here.
ChosenOne
Damn talk about getting owned the last 3 minutes of the first. Barbosa and Splinter are both kicking our [expletive] right now.
Owner Real Deal Posted August 30, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted August 30, 2010 Bad offense, bad defense. We aren't playing team basketball (can't beat a zone with individual play), and we can't defend the pick and roll.
ChosenOne
We flatout cant stop the pick and roll, they have every single point cause of us not being able to stop the pick and roll with Splinter. Offensively Durant cant be stop that is why we are in this game and not getting killed. We have had a few dumbass TO's that has cost us everytime. I see us maybe deciding to put a bit more pressure full court than we have so far. We really need to stop the the one pass contested shots early in the shot clock. Time for class USA better pick this the [expletive] up. Cobb
Team USA needs someone who can play the post. What a lucky win.
YugoRocketsFan
USA has gotten lucky so far, at first I thought this was USA's to win but the championship race is WIDE open
Guru
Wow, what a lucky win. We played awful, and deserved to lose to be honest.
Multi-Billionaire
Odom is a great rebounder, that's what he starts... although he botched a late lay up... must be what Laker fans see often. But he's a mismatch and very hard to stop in transition once in the paint and there's no defender in time, it's a sure lay in. Â I think they need to play Curry more... he's very effective... he's wet from everywhere and can handle and pass the rock. Â Â Derrick Rose is nice, but I think his game is too flashy to be effective in this international game...
*Swish*
Wow that was a close game but USA got the win 70-68. Still perfect. Barbosa has a good game with 14 points. But Durant was the USA savior with
Multi-Billionaire
Oh yea another thought is Iggy is very disruptive defensively to the opposing team... he is very active and gets after loose balls, passing lanes, and knocking ball off opposing players. He reminds me of Shawn Marion back when he was still with the Suns.
ChosenOne
I caught the ending on SportsCenter, and am completely dissappointed in the way USA played that entire game. From the first half and SportsCenter higlights it really only seemed like Durant was the only one playing that entire game.
