After a few days of strenuous work (did a lot of typing and doing fantasy drafts) and a few too many coffees, I finally nailed down the project I wanted to do all summer, my blog. Some might remember the post I put up about doing Team Previews and such. Well, it never got done. Probably disappointed some people, and I kind of hated myself for not doing it because it would of been a rewarding project to say the least, but this is just as good. For tonight, it's just one article - my sort of "Feature" colum - the Pick Six. It'll probably come out twice a week, or once a week if I do some other things, but either way, it's six notes on things I wanted to write about and get my thoughts on. You'll find the link for it down below.

I just want to say thanks to all the people in the football forum. I don't want to go too in depth, but there's a few people I'd personally like to thank (God, I sound like I just won an Emmy or something).

ECN - I don't always agree with your views, and you're difficult to deal with sometimes, but I respect that you're true to word and support your team.

Renos - You all send me awful fantasy football proposals, but you bring good insight on everything football.

.50 - You tell it like it is, but post a bit more on the forums.

Lkr - Solid insight on things.

SumtiNspecial - I don't see eye to eye on you with the Seahawks, and you post some weird [expletive], but the forums wouldn't be the same without you.

Bearsfan - I don't like Brian Urlacher.

Flash - Good Green Bay fan.

Fish - I think Tony Romo is a upstanding individual.

Mason - Post a bit more. And give me insight on this years top fiddy players.

Real - I'm not a big basketball fan, but I wouldn't be on any forums right now if it weren't for this site. So thank you.

Hakeem Nicks - Nicks is going to have a breakout season.

There's probably a lot more of you, but whatever, I think the same of all of you.

Tomorrow, I'm going to release my "Love/Hate" column on fantasy football, and NFL in general, and I'll be posting at least two new things every day for the next week leading up to the NCAA season, and hitting the high gear the next week for NFL season. I seriously hope this jump starts my Journalism career. I guess everyone has to start somewhere, right?

If they're any bugs with the site, or anything errors on my grammar or on the site itself, let me know, I'll fix it. Thanks guys.

You're welcome to post all of your articles on the site, with links. Since they are yours, you can post the full article...but I would recommend against it. Get readers (even the guests) to visit your site and read the full article. :)

And...

http://twitterfeed.com

Use that for your articles...they will post automatically to your Twitter. Makes life easier. ;)

Good luck with the blog. If you need anything, just let me know.

Bookmarked, grats on the opening. Need help with anything, insight, etc... Hit me up. <3

I'm going to get some people for a little round table thing after each week this season. I don't want to take all the credit for this site, I kind of want this to be a community-type thing, but really broaden my horizons as far as audiences go.

I honestly can't wait bro, and I think I'm the only Reno who hasn't sent you an awful trade yet or am I wrong? lol

Haha, you're the main culprit. But it's okay, I enjoy them.

Best one - Confidence trades me Steve Smith (Carolina) and Ronnie Brown for Brandon Marshall and J-Stew.

Fish - I think Tony Romo is a upstanding individual.

And a damn good quarter back as well!!

Congrats buddy, one of the guys who's opinion I respect the most. If you need a dallas-biased opinion or anything at all I gotya.

EDIT: btw when you finally get picked up by ESPN put in the good word for me!

Great to hear! You have always made the best posts in the football forum. Some times I don't agree with them, but you are truly a knowledgeable football fan :)

btw, was this site pre-coded or did you code it yourself? The left frame and the bottom bar are causing problems for me in firefox :s

Thanks guys, I hope you guys continue to read everything I put out and help me out with any criticisms you may have. I really have a good feeling about this.

Lkr - It was pre-coded, so I honestly wouldn't have any idea how to fix it. In a perfect world, I would have my own layout and a Wordpress, it'd help tremendously, but tumblr's not bad. The only terrible thing is I can't really keep old articles up, I have to archive them because the pages would be way too long. I think I'd prefer Blogger in that sense, but this is definitely not bad at all.

Seriously though, great job on the site, it's very professional and well-written. Hope there's no "Finally wrote my second column." topic next month.

Your wish is my command.

Miles Austin had a breakout season last year. Can he do it again?

It’s a favorite of peoples - to discuss who is a breakout candidate and who they’re a fan of this year. At least, fantasy owners, anyways.

But let’s get to the bottom of it. We all love, and hate players. Owen Munro digs down deep into his mind to comment on his own.

Newest article. At first I really had my eyes on it being a fantasy article, and there are some roots of that in there, but I shied away from it and went more into a personal column, but still focused on the offensive side of the ball. Obviously I have loves and hates on the defensive side of the ball, maybe I'll get to them sometime next week. Either way, these also are not all of them, but still, enjoy.

And bring some up on your own if you'd like to. Discussion is key in these things!

Agree on Miles a lot of people think he will be 1 and done or something like that but if you watch him you could see he has a special combination of height and speed and an ability to run after catching the ball

btw, I take it you won't be sending Roy Williams a christmas card.

DeAngelo Williams, Running Back, Carolina Panthers – Okay, maybe I don’t hate him. I don’t hate many players. Perhaps I should change it to “Love/Dislike” relationship? Either way, I think Williams is a solid player, but that’s it. Just solid, and the offense runs much more cleaner with Stewart taking snaps. He’ll still get his carries (you can take that to the bank) but he won’t find as much success as Stewart, in my opinion.

Dude my UNR English professor would have killed you, the article is about your Love/Hates putting "in my opinion" is completely unnecessary/poor English.

Out side of that man great work, but why no love or hate for the Chargers I was looking for one? lol
