bigdog17k
Yeah, I see alot of athletes wearing this brand: http://www.powerbalance.com/ It's the same thing, just different style. I always wondered what those new bracelets they were all wearing were.
reno
its placebo effect, in other words its a gimmick. If it really worked, every soldier/military unit would have one. They pay the athletes to use it. And the videos you linked is an old magician trick of applying certain pressures to the body. If i were you, I would save my money. Owner Real Deal Posted August 31, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 And the videos you linked is an old magician trick of applying certain pressures to the body. You may have to explain why I lose my balance as well, until I put on the band. I'm pretty sure my brother has no magic tricks up his sleeve.

Paul
I work at Hibbett's and this is the only thing that I would wear. The necklaces are complete gimmicks though. The bands actually do work, but around 35% of it working is like dabears said placebo effect. I would wait till they go down in price a bit if I was you guys. I wasn't aware that they actually had the Power Balance bands.
Paul
Some carry them, just depends on which stores. We don't carry them but I went to the Athens store and tried them out.
trutrojan8
I don't understand the point of these?? It just improves your balance when people try to knock you over? how often will that help?
Owner Real Deal Posted August 31, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 I don't understand the point of these?? It just improves your balance when people try to knock you over? how often will that help?Increases energy as well (that I've found out, of course). I played basketball for four hours the other day, 1-5 PM (in the heat), and I felt pretty good when we were done. Usually, my diabetes will wear me down after the second or third hour if I'm out in the heat.

Sun Tzu
I bought one from http://powerbalance.com.au for $60. It seems as though Australians can't buy them off Eastbay or any other US site.
